Born in Devon, Nigel Draper comes from a long line of engineers and artists.
Educated at Chipping Sodbury Grammar School and as a mature student at Cambridge University where he read History. Nigel has had a jumble of jobs including working in the City, project-managing large construction sites, and working in the theatre. For many years now he has framed pictures and made furniture. During the 1970’s and 1980’s he wrote a number of scripts for television where he learnt the importance of pacing and suspense.
Nigel has always enjoyed travelling and has lived on the island of Corfu and worked in Germany.
Interests include history, music, cricket, reading and the lost art of wasting time. He has also played drums in various bands.
He lives in the Wiltshire countryside with a three-legged, one eared, rescue cat called Tiffin.
